New Pocket Ranger apps from DNR help outdoor enthusiasts and hunters

MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) -- If you hunt, fish, or just enjoy the outdoors, Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources has an app for that. It's called the Pocket Ranger. Chris Welch from the DNR says if you still have the old smartphone application for hunting start and finish times, it's time for a free upgrade. "The original 99 cent Sunrise-Sunset app is no longer supported, and its functions have been transferred to the new Wisconsin Pocket Ranger.".
