Objectives: Encourage year-round visitation to the Lake Geneva area and promote its myriad of outdoor recreational activities and events to Wisconsin families and sportspersons.
Solution: During 2015, LGCC ran ad campaigns on both the Official Pocket Ranger® Wisconsin State Parks and Official Pocket Ranger® Wisconsin Fish & Wildlife apps. Its advertising messages were changed seasonally to promote available activities/events such as golfing, boating, swimming, winter festivals and ice castle contests, etc. Further impact was created with static ads on all relevant activity pages, plus statics within key informational content for Kettle Moraine State Forrest and Big Foot State Beach.
Result: The Wisconsin Pocket Ranger® mobile platform delivered incremental visitation to Lake Geneva and effectively promoted its many activities and seasonal events.
